JPL understands that we all have different life and career journeys. We invite you to make us your next step.  If you have taken a career break and are ready to return to work – this program is for you!

We're in it for the journey

The JPL Project Discovery re-entry program is looking for talented, experienced professionals who wish to restart their careers after an absence from the workforce. Whether you're a veteran, military spouse, caregiver, parent, or are otherwise returning from an absence, JPL values the skills and life experience you've gained while away. We are committed to providing training, equitable career development, and advancement opportunities to those returning to work.

Project Discovery is a one-year program where you will have the opportunity to update your skills in a contemporary, world-class environment at JPL. You will have access to the latest tools and technologies available, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to hone your expertise and deliver on client-critical solutions. With specialized training and mentoring, you'll be able to experience the breadth of JPL resources while developing new skills and building new relationships.

This paid one-year returnship role will enable you to work on projects that match your expertise, interests, and abilities, and could lead to full-time employment.
